LogMeIn Inc. (f.k.a. 3am Labs), a Woburn, Mass.-based provider of user remote connectivity and support services, has filed for an $86.25 million IPO. It plans to trade on the Nasdaq under ticker symbol LOGM, with Lehman Brothers and JPMorgan serving as co-lead underwriters. LogMeIn has raised around $20 million in VC funding since 2004, from firms like Prism VentureWorks (23.98%), Polaris Venture Partners (21.16%), 3TS Capital Partners (15.96%), Integral Capital Partners (8.98%) and Intel Capital (5.47%). www.logmein.com
 
 
Aushon Biosystems Inc., a Burlington, Mass.-based developer of enabling technologies for life science research, drug discovery/development and clinical diagnostics, has secured $4 million of a $7 million Series B round, according to a regulatory filing. Endeca Inks $15M From Strategic Backers
Looking to improve its relationships with some larger technology companies, Endeca Technologies Inc., a provider of information access software, has secured $15 million from strategic investors.

Arbor Networks, a Lexington, Mass.–based provider of secure service control solutions for global business networks, has agreed to acquire Ellacoya Networks Inc., a Merrimack, N.H.-based provider of broadband service optimization solutions to carriers. No financial terms were disclosed. Arbor has raised around $33 million in VC funding between 2000 and 2002, from firms like Battery Ventures, EDF Ventures, Comcast Interactive Capital, Thomas Weisel Partners, Cisco Systems, SAIC Venture Capital and Ironside Ventures. Ellacoya has raised over $190 million in total VC funding since its 1999 inception, including a venture recap in 2003. Current shareholders include Lightspeed Venture Partners, Atlas Venture, Summerhill Venture Partners and Flagship Ventures.
 
PeptImmune Inc., a Cambridge, Mass.-based drug company focused on chronic autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, has raised $8.2 million in the first close of a Series D round. Return backers included New Enterprise Associates, MPM Capital, Hunt Ventures, Boston Medical Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank Capital. The company had previously raised around $66 million in VC funding since its 2003 spinout from Genzyme, with other investors including Prism VentureWorks, Vanguard Ventures and Itochu Corporation. Pervasis Therapeutics Inc., a Cambridge, Mass.-based developer of regenerative cell-based therapies and devices, has raised $9.75 million in Series B-1 funding.
